How it's Made - Our Leather Art Garments
are created using natural leathers combined with various silk threads and
woolen yarns. After finishing discussions about design and delivery
specifications, our leather shop creates the patterns for these
garments and for the various leather pieces that will be used. The
patterns are used to make the cutting plates that the individual leathers pieces are
created from. Then the leather pieces for each garment, along with the
various silks and yarns are handcrafted with each piece using age-old crochet
and brocade techniques. The finished pieces are returned to our quality
control team, which inspects each handcrafted garment to see that it matches
our client’s
precise specifications. No item is sent out until it is thoroughly
inspected.
Materials Description Our Full Grain Suede is more finely textured, stronger, and more supple. It is lightly sueded on one side and smooth on the other. Our Split Double Skin Suede has a more distinctive grain texture, typically revealing more of the hair root dots, and is sueded inside and out. Our Printed (Full Grain) Suedes have smooth designer patterns on the lightly sueded outside, with a smooth reverse side. Our Lambskin is a full grain hide that is very tender and supple. Our Denim is a soft-washed lightweight denim that combines strength and flexibility.
